At the age of seventeen, Pat Martin’s home situation was turned upside down and his family got separated for three years. Once reconnected, he began using photography as a tool to mend his relationship with his mother. Her rapidly declining health, alongside the discovery of old and incomplete family albums, sparked his desire to create a new family album of his own design.
